We're an in-home personal training service in St. Louis MO that brings the gym to you, allowing you to exercise in the comfort and convenience of your own home. Our programs are designed to meet your individual goals and keep you looking and feeling your best. Working closely with your qualified trainer, you can look forward to improving your overall health and vitality, including strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility.
In-Home Personal Training
Your house becomes your own private exercise studio, where you get the undivided attention of your trainer. With this one-on-one care, you will be able to develop the confidence, comfort level, and focus needed to have a truly transformative and enjoyable workout experience.
Group Training
Many clients enjoy working out with their friends, spouses, and family as a way of staying motivated and having fun, and so Fitness Friend offers the option of small group personal training as well. Having another person working hard along with you can provide a boost of energy and extra moral support during a workout.
Nutrition
Fitness Friend strives to make you aware of the importance of nutrition in improving your overall health and fitness, and provides the support you need to change your eating habits to be in line with you seeing benefits of all your hard-fought effort. Our trainers encourage you to be careful about both what you eat and how much you eat.

Yoga

We bring the massage table, music, hot stones, and relaxing vibe to you! There are a myriad of benefits to massage therapy, including relaxing tight muscles, correcting muscle and posture imbalances, relieving headaches, joint pain, and nerve pain.

Ben Smith
Ben Smith is a NASM CTP (Certified Personal Trainer) and SFS (Senior Fitness Specialist). After never quite getting the results he was looking for, Ben hired a trainer and found that, for the first time in his life, he was actually excited about going to the gym.
He found the trainer-client dynamic so powerful and effective that he wanted others to enjoy the same results. He decided to change career paths and become a trainer, and since then has never looked back.

Andrew Helbig
Andrew Helbig is ISSA CPT (Certified Personal Trainer). He has had a life-long passion for exercise, and is thrilled to have found a career path in fitness because every day he gets to do what he loves.
He is extremely dedicated to his own workouts, and he enjoys extending that same care, devotion, and drive to the clients he trains. He believes exercise is crucial for everyone, no matter what their age, physical condition, or life situation. He sees the mental health benefits of exercise as being just as important as the physical.

Kevin Ashley
Kevin Ashley is an ASFA CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), and Fitness Friend feels lucky to have him on the team. His two greatest passions in life are fitness and helping others, and he feels that his choice to become a personal trainer was inevitable because of this.
He has lots of experience in functional bodybuilding and athletic performance training, and feels these two styles are ideal for building strength and athleticism and for increasing mobility. He believes this type of training is actually beneficial for everyone, since it helps keep the body pain and injury free through the aging process, in particular by building resilience in the knees, hips, low backs and shoulders.
He is a true exercise science expert, and he loves seeing his clients get the results they are looking for. He is a successful trainer largely because of his ability to properly assess his client’s needs and goals, and also through his careful attention to detail in terms of programming and in coaching his clients on proper form and technique.

Penny Moskus is an ACE CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and Group Exercise Instructor and is Certified in Silver Sneakers with nearly 20 years in the industry. She is super passionate about helping clients of all ages and abilities to find inspiration and motivation to lead healthier lives.
Beginners as well as those returning to exercise feel comfortable with her easy-going style. With her own fitness, she has found the best way to keep consistent is by finding the most enjoyable and creative ways to work out. She likes to incorporate movement elements from yoga and dance as well as more traditional strength training using a variety of equipment.
Working with Penny as your coach and fitness friend, you can expect to learn safe and effective ways to protect your body, gain balance, strength, flexibility and confidence so that you can enjoy the activities you love for many years to come!

Nate Green
Nate Green is an ISSA CPT (Certified Personal Trainer). He has had a life-long passion for health and wellness, and believes that a personal trainer can help motivated clients regardless of their fitness level.
Nate is dedicated to making every training experience unique, and with his keen and diverse knowledge base he is able to keep workouts exciting from week to week. Having played baseball all over the world, he has experienced various workout techniques, and has developed an understanding of their integrated functionality.
While strength training is extremely important, Nate believes that flexibility and stability are aspects of a workout that are equally as vital. He is excellent at keeping people motivated, providing support and encouragement, and progressing people at the right pace to reach their goals while also keeping them safe.

Alana Krone
Alana Krone is an ACE fitness instructor with extensive experience and certifications in multiple exercise fields. Alana has degrees in Exercise Science and Secondary Education from Wheaton College. She is also a former Division 3 soccer player who enjoys hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and spending time with her family.
Alana is passionate about guiding her clients toward achieving a better version of themselves. She challenges everyone to meet their individual goals, and leaves them feeling accomplished.
She has trained people of all ages and fitness levels, including individuals with disabilities and even elite athletes. Alana is most known for her creative program development — no two sessions are the same!

Tony Minorini
Tony Minorini is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), and has expertise in a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Therapy. With 3.5 years of industry experience, Tony has the knowledge and ability to serve a wide range of issues and concerns for clients. He has a keen eye for diagnosing each person’s particular condition, and has expert skill in resolving issues such as muscle tightness and imbalance, headaches, sciatic nerve pain, and constricted rotator cuff.
Tony has been a resident of St. Louis for more than 25 years. He’s an active member of the ecological community, and enjoys biking, hiking, and fishing. He studied biology at Bradley University before traveling to Massage in Phoenix, AZ at the renowned Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy.
Tony has a passion for helping people achieve better health and wellness through offering massage therapy in conjunction with physical training and corrective exercise. He often works with the other Fitness Friend trainers to help people achieve this goal, and so he’s a perfect fit for the Fitness Friend Team! Davvan Butler
Davvan Butler is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Behavioral Change Specialist, and ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist. He also has a masters degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise physiology from SIU Edwardsville. He has 7 years of personal training experience and has had a life-long passion for fitness.
His main motivation is helping others achieve their fitness goals, and he enjoys seeing people accomplish things they never thought possible. He sees regular exercise as a way to help people live an all-around healthy lifestyle, and he takes great joy in helping support people on their journey to a higher quality of life. He is an expert in diagnosing each client’s unique situation and then progressing them with just the right amount of physical activity and intensity, so that they make steady, lasting progress. Davvan also has a wealth of knowledge and experience with injury prevention and corrective exercise, and is adept at helping people with chronic conditions and injuries. He is passionate about working with clients from all walks of life, from children, to seniors, to athletes.
